Deep Freeze simple for Linux

Everybody knows what is deep freeze in hasefroch right? It is an application that blocks your disk for anyone to intentional or unintentional damage to your files and folders. So if someone accidentally deletes a folder that you did not want to delete this folder with its contents 'reappear' after restart pc.

For linux we had ever seen Lethe application but never really knew if it was difficult or easy to use but today I want to submit the application Ofris which is very easy to use.

To install it on Ubuntu just have to copy following lines into a console:
  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tldm217/tahutek.net
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install ofris-en
And to run only write in a console:
  • ofris-en
Once run will see that using it is very easy in first window tells them what they want "freezer" or block, user may be they are using, another user or all users. It also gives them option to unlock all or view current status of locks.

After choosing appropriate option only need to enter password and go. Tests can be done by deleting files or creating new ones and you will see that when you restart any of these changes are permanent. It is a special application to libraries in universities, cafes and even for your PC if there are many who use it.
