Visualize bar paths in Ubuntu Linux

May You want it done finally, so Every Time You open Nautilus toolbar Already path would be available. In this case, you can venture by gconftool solve everything in one simple command. Press Alt+F2 or open terminal, copy and paste command below:

  • gconftool-2 --type=Boolean --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_location_entry true


That's it. Automatically, Nautilus ever use navigation bar by default, as you can see in image below:


And if you want to go back to How It Was Before? Use following command in terminal window or Run Application (Alt+F2):
  • gconftool-2 --type=Boolean --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_location_entry false
