Jupiter is application for hardware management and power consumption that is included in Aurora distribution formerly Eeebuntu.
Jupiter allows to quickly switch such as screen resolution, turn on or turn off wifi and other common option in netbooks equipped with Intel Atom CPU , is Linux equivalent of Super Hybrid Engine that comes with EeePC from Asus.
In WebUpd8 have prepared packages for ubuntu in Ubuntu version 9.10 "Karmic Koala", Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" and Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" in a PPA repository to add repository from a terminal write following:

- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/jupiter
- sudo apt-get update
Install Jupiter
- sudo apt-get install jupiter
For Eeepc users also install
- sudo apt-get install jupiter-support-eee
